Eventvibe Kicks Off Ritual Nights With Troyboi, Klingande and More

April 28, 2015 - by Molly Sinclair

Eventvibe and Amplified Access are introducing a new series of events at House of Blues San Diego - and it's like nothing you've seen before.

The series will be called "Ritual," beginning in May and running through the Fall. Each night will feature forward-thinking artists in a variety of genres, a fresh take in a scene dominated by the mainstream.

Some of the alternative genres that the Eventvibe / Amplified Access crew wants to highlight include tribal music, future bass, deep house, tropical house, and trap, just to name a few. Ritual nights will also feature some eclectic local talent. However, the crew strongly encourages input from the fans on which creative genres and breakthrough artists to book this season.

"There's a lot of good music out there, and with all these super clubs coming up, we want to give the underground some well-deserved attention," says Justin Navalle, Senior Director at and Co-Founder of Amplified Access. "We want to show young people that theres more than just commercial music out there. We're partnering with a lot of passionate crews in San Diego that are down for the cause and want to get involved with our vision."

Ritual kicks off with a performance by groovy house artist Klingande on May 15th at House of Blues. With his versatile production ranging from jazzy tracks to deep house to even being featured on Thomas Jack's Tropical House podcast, the set will definitely be full of surprises. The event will be ages 18+ like all the other shows in the series, but 21+ patrons are free to roam with drinks throughout the iconic venue.

Troyboi and TWRK are next up on the calendar, bringing their hip hop styles and trap beats to House of Blues on July 3rd. While duo TWRK leads the Jersey Club scene, Troyboi gives trap a UK twist with support from Diplo & Friends. Both acts are fearless, collaborating for a no-holds-barred show of heavy beats and mad attitude.
