5 Iconic Fashion Trends at EDC 2015

June 22, 2015 - by Molly Sinclair

Rave fashion in the U.S. has progressed much since the 90's, no doubt. However, with the recent EDM explosion and exponential increase in all types of festivals, we see the trends rapidly changing every year.

Here are some of the most iconic trends that we saw at Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) this past weekend, the mecca of dance music festivals.

Stunning Wings

Huge, flowing isis wings emerged this spring season, with new styles that allow you to pull your wings in while you're in the packed crowd, and fly free in a wide space.

Hardcore Harnesses

With outfits getting tinsy-tiny, accessories are the way to add edge to your look. Last year we saw body chains adorning the pool parties in 2014; this year, hardcore harnesses gave typical rave fashion a one-two punch.

Wacky Totems

Totems have been a useful way to find your friends in crowds for the past few years, but did anyone notice how ridiculous these silly sticks are getting? Here are some of the most hilarious and creative totems from this year.

Far More Flags

Although not necessarily an item of clothing, far more flags popped up this year, as the international presence increased at EDC. This iconic trend gives our country's premier festival a Tomorrowland type feel, as more and more people flock to the Las Vegas event.

Pasties, pasties... and more pasties

This past weekend was the hottest weekend Vegas saw in 2015 so far, but that might not be the only reason we saw so many pasties (nipple covers) this year. The scene is becoming ever more accepting of envelope-pushing trends, so anyone and everyone can leave the shirt at home!
