Out in the mountains east of San Diego county, up a windy, scenic road, lies a magic location where a few thousand people gather twice a year for a special reason: to dance.
DJs, artists, dancers and music fanatics will congregate at the Los Coyotes Indian Reservation this spring to enjoy deep bass, heavy house, and tantalizing techno. Of course, by the article title, you know this April hosts none other than the experience known as Desert Hearts Spring Festival.
Desert Hearts has just announced their musical lineup for the soundtrack to the Spring Festival, check it out below:
The Spring Festival 2016 includes highlights Atish, Butch, DJ Harvey, Heartthrob, Super Flu, Manik, with live performances by Dance Spirit and Lonely Boy. Of course, Desert Hearts favorites will be performing: Mikey Lion, Lee Reynolds, Marbs, Porkchop, and Deep Jesus.
Whether you've attended many Desert Hearts events before, or are curious about this upcoming festival, it will definitely be an incredible year to attend - that is, if you're able to get tickets in time. That's because the DH crew that once threw small renegade parties has now expanded to host City Hearts parties around the world, with a better production and even closer family community. From City Hearts shows on both coasts of the U.S., to Maya Hearts in Mexico, and an upcoming bash in Toronto, it's apparent that the DH love is spreading far and wide in 2016.
Besides the exceptional music, that community feeling is the true essence of Desert Hearts that has built such a dedicated wave of festival friends that attend each festival off the grid. It's as if each event is another chapter of the story, and as the tale unfolds, the book just keeps getting longer. And over here at Eventvibe, we can't stop turning the pages.
Desert Hearts Spring Festival will host non-stop music from Friday, April 1 at 10 AM until Monday, April 4 at 4 PM (um, wow).
The location is the Los Coyotes Indian Reservation in Warner Springs, CA.
Camping is included in the festival ticket, but you'll need to buy a car camping pass if you want to bring your car to the campground.
Temperatures vary from warm 70s in the day to cold 30s at night, so be prepared.
This is a self-reliant event, so you'll need to bring your own water and anything else needed to survive for 3 days.
This is a 21+ event.
