FOSSIL FRIDAYS presents Sonar Vancouver




The Gerbz & Nike Sportwear are very excited to welcome a west coast nightclub & house music producer icon to Toronto. LUKE McKEEHAN has been rocking dancefloors and studios since the mid 80's. During this period he was the vision and sound behind SONAR, the west coast equivalent to what INDUSTRY was in Toronto.Around these parts that is mos def FOSSIL status.

Luke is in town opening for Mark Farina at the Nike Sportswear event atCentury Room for Street Level Tuesdays-Aug 24th. He has played other Nike Sportswear events with Farina in Vancouver so he will be bringing some serious energy and understanding to the task at hand.

Here is some background information on to put you on the know of why you should be making the trip to the hot OzzyBlock this Friday for FOSSIL. Luke will be joined by FOSSIL residents G.Cue & Mahogany Speed.

Luke's History: Nordic Trax label founder Luke McKeehan has been keepin' it real behind the decks since the 1985, in the process becoming one of Canada's most celebrated underground house DJs. He has hosted and deejayed alongside Mark Farina, H-Foundation, DJ Heather, Gilles Peterson, Danny Tenaglia, Marques Wyatt, Little Louie' Vega, Doc Martin, Jazzanova, Diz and Ben Watt among many others, as well as opening for St. Germain, Basement Jaxx, Groove Armada, Jamiroquai and David Bowie to name only a few. Nordic Trax releases have been widely licensed to other dance compilations, web & tv advertisements as well as film and tv productions large & small.
