Stays Behind the Mask...
One of the most talked about Donovan events of 2010 was when Donovan introduced an all new debaucherous Venetian masked theme event in the spirit of the commencement of the annual CARNIVAL OF VENICE in Italy and Stanley Kubrick's "EYES WIDE SHUT" film w/ Tom Cruise & Nicole Kidman (PG-13 for our party, of course). Many people playfully called it the 'Super-Sexy' Halloween party in February!!! This sexy new party returns once again on Saturday, February 26th, precisely the same days as the CARNIVAL OF VENICE commences in Italy. So get in the sexy spirit, go shopping for a seductive Venetian mask and that blazing hot outfit, and prepare for what is sure to be one of the most unforgettable & most tantalizing experiences of your lives...
A NEW SEXY SAN FRANCISCO TRADITION
Please join us for what has become San Francisco's sexiest new annual tradition: San Francisco's 2nd Annual "THE MASQUERADE BALL: A Sexy Venetian Carnival Affair" will be hosted at the city's most enchanting atmosphere restaurant ANA MANDARA in Ghirardelli Square.
VENETIAN MASKS REQUESTED
This is a Venetian "mask" party, in the spirit of Carnival of Venice which commences in Italy this year precisely on the same Saturday, February 26th. Back in 1292, the original purpose of the Carnival of Venice was to serve as an excuse for people of different social classes to mingle and indulge in behaviors that might be otherwise deemed questionable, if not downright salacious. The custom of wearing masks developed to protect the identity of the Carnival participants and empowering them anonymous freedom to partake in their most intimate of fantasies and desires. The point of THE MASQUERADE BALL is to provide a sexy evening of 'mystique' & 'playfulness' for you and your friends to experience the freedom of anonymity behind the mask, leaving your inhibitions behind, and setting your wildest fantasies free.
You can either purchase your own elaborate & unique Venetian style masquerade mask or you can simply receive a FREE masquerade mask we will be providing at the door which patrons will be required to wear inside the event.
However, It is strongly encouraged that you purchase your own mask so you "stand out" from everyone else's masks and express your own alter-ego that best expresses you. There are plenty of wonderful costume shops in San Francisco that sell a wide assortment of Venetian masks for very economical prices ($10-$25) as well as online retailers.
