Dub Mechanics™ were fused out of a deep passion for electronic music and a strong musical background. Since the start in 2006, the Dubs have emerged as one of the stand out electronic music groups of Los Angeles. Their signature in-your-face dirty beats and "thrumping" bass lines quickly set them apart from the rest.
2007 proved to be an intense sophomore year for the group as they helped launch Las Vegas-based Industry Radio working as resident DJ's and co-producers for the show. The weekly 1-hour show featured interviews and live DJ mixes from top artists from around the globe.
But the year did not come to a close before they launched their own record label, dubbed Bro.kn Records. Dub Mechanics™ instantly signed the highly skilled roster of artists they had come to work with and as a record label gained momentum and earned multiple Top 10 Hits, charted tracks, and have received support from some of the biggest names in electronic music including Funkagenda, Roger Sanchez, Carl Cox and Bad Boy Bill just just to name a few. Dub Mechanics have released over 70 original tracks and remixes and a Bootleg or two - all in the name of keeping dance floors moving and bouncing.
They have played alongside such talents as Donald Glaude, Starkillers, Erick Morillo, David Guetta, Hernan Cattaneo, Tall Paul and Nic Fancuilli and the list goes on. Theyhave headlined at some of the countries biggest clubs including Las Vegas Mega Clubs Studio 54, TAO, Empire Ballroom, and Seamless After-Hours, to SoCal Super-Clubs like Avalon, Giant, Circus, King King, After Hour Power - no party is big enough for them.
Recently combining forces with local DJ-producers Matt Cerf (Armada), Leo Azevedo (Jigsaw Recordings), Clybourne (L8), and Ryan Pearl (Pearl & Pelio), the Dubs have co-created RISE Promotion. A DJ crew meets promotion company that brings the most dynamic electronic dance music parties in Hollywood. Having their debut parties at Green Door they most recently moved to The Highlands Loft where for their signature-weekly "Feel-It Fridays", they have pulled steady crowds who were thirsty for a new vibe.
944 Magazine LA has called them one of the "Most Respected Underground Collective DJs...". Their mixes have been featured on Proton Radio, Industry Radio, DI FM, Beat Freaks Radio, The shakedown podcasts and Frisky Radio countless times.
Dub Mechanics™ have moved massive crowds with their stylized sound. One common quote among DJs, Producers, and Promoters who have experienced the Dub Mechanics work is "Dub Mechanics are a force to be reckoned with in the electronic music scene".
