With a style and sound as eclectic as the city he calls home, Vin Sol is a DJ/Entertainer/Promoter who ignites dance floors from behind the decks of the rawest hip-hop parties to the sweatiest indie clubs in America. The San Francisco native has gained recognition for his unique approach to “party-music” blending original mixes ranging from indie to hyphy and club staples creating a highly evolved sound that speaks to the cross pollinated music world of today.

Vin Sol started out splitting his time sneaking into clubs underage carrying records for old guard of heavy-weight Bay Area DJ’s and the California College of the Arts. Boasting a deeply engrained knowledge of DJ culture and a love of highlighting artists by expanding the concept of genre without fear or hang-ups the idea of a “party” remains essential.

After countless gigs at Small clubs, bars and house parties a loyal following emerged and audiences demanded more. Playing off an ever-growing reputation, 2005 was the launching year his now legendary monthly SF hip-hop party Superfriends (Best Serial Party, SF Weekly Best of 2007), where he shined repeatedly in front of out of town guest DJ’s.

To date Vin Sol has shared the stage with today’s best like Steve Aoki, A-trak, DJ AM, Ghostland Observatory, Flosstradamus, Yo Majesty, Prince Paul, Handsome Boy Modeling School, Mickey Avalon., Monsters Are Waiting and The Gray Kid rocking crowds from LA, Chicago and NY, while holding down weekly and monthy parties in SF. His frantic paced live sets, critically acclaimed mix tapes and dedication to the tradition of party rockin’ have him one of the most in demand DJ’s in SF and beyond.
