After a decade of dj-ing in clubs around Italy, Benny Benassi rocketed
to international stardom in 2003 with the track "Satisfaction",
acclaimed by the likes of Timo Maas, Carl Cox, Dj Hell and Fatboy Slim.
The tune dominated all the key charts the world over, won countless
awards and suddenly Bennys name was on everyones lips.
Since then, Benny has put out several singles and a
million-copy-selling album, gained a stable position as one of the
worlds 20 most highly rated djs, remixed Outkast, Goldfrapp, Moby,
Felix Da Housecat and Etienne De Crecy, among others, mixed a
compilation for Erick Morillos famous Subliminal label and founded his
own label, Pump-kin Music.
To kill time before releasing another groundbreaking monster, Benny has
produced numerous hits with his faithful studio partner and invisible
twin, Alle, under the trademark of Benassi Bros and put out the
controversial "Who's Your Daddy?".

Pump-kin was founded in 2005 by Benny Benassi, Paul Sears and Larry
Pignagnoli. The first signings were AUDIO VEGAS, N.O.I.P. (No-one is
perfect) and AGIMAN. AUDIO VEGAS is a trio of Italian dj producers who
like minimal techno music and monkeying around in the dj booth. We
still don..t who N.O.I.P. is but we like the music and send the
statements...AGIMAN lives in Venice and likes to take one day at a
time.
After the 2005 compilation to launch the label .. Benny Benassi cooking
for Pump-kin, phase one, Pump-kin is back with a compilation for his
Canadian bus tour - Benny Benassi cooking for Pump-kin, special menu,
released in Canada. It..s about to be released in U.S.A. with a
slightly modified tracklist.
Pump-kin has new tracks from AUDIO VEGAS and N.O.I.P. and has added two
new artists to its roster, MOBBING and GROOVERANGER.
It's also opening a sub-label, FUNKY PUMP-KIN, which is... err...
