Mr. V (Sole Channel, NYC)
In 2001, along with partner Alix Alvarez, Mr. V launched his own label Sole Channel Music. To date, he has released four singles on the label including his most famous track, “Something (Wit’ Jazz).” Mr. V has also released original productions and remixes for other labels including Vega Records (featuring the massive tracks “Jus’ Dance”, “Put Your Drink Down”, Louie Vega feat Mr. V “V Gets Jazzy”), Ricanstruction Label, King Street Sounds, City Deep Music and Large Music. Combining his multifaceted skills as a DJ / producer / remixer, and with an ear towards dance music’s roots, Mr. V is a name to watch out for!
Alix Alvarez (Sole Channel, NYC)
Joining Mr. V is his partner in Sole Channel Alix Alvarez! 2001 marked Alix's first release entitled "The Nu Breed E.P." on Essence Records UK and since then he has been releasing original tracks and remixes like a mad man! In 2004 Alix and Mr. V launched their now internationally recognized record label, Sole Channel Music. Worldwide success has prevailed for Alix from his production of the world wide smash and highly acclaimed “Da Bump”, in collaboration with Mr. V and Miss Patty released on Defected Records in 2007. With a heavy tour schedule, Alix has been on the road spreading the Sole Channel love world wide from Japan to Johannesburg and everywhere in between.
