Originally born and raised in the Ko'olau Mountains and waves of Hawaii, Diamond was nurtured by the rhythm of the natural forces around her. Her father, a professional magician, played a huge role in Diamond's love of performance. Becoming a DJ was the perfect melding of her love of music and pleasing a crowd.
Diamond had been DJing for 11 years now and has played in over 35 countries. She is the most Internationally touring female DJ in America. The countries she has played in include: Austria, Brazil, India, New Zealand, the Philippines, Greece, Morrocco, Serbia, Korea, South Africa, Dubai, Portugal, Paraguay, Syria, Thailand, Switzerland, Ibiza, China, Panama, Indonesia, El Salvador, Russia, Viet Nam, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ukraine, Malaysia, all over Mexico, Central America, Singapore, all over America and Canada, France and the British Virgin Islands.

Always wanting to be a dancer, I enjoyed dancing to the lovely sounds of progressive house and trance. Although I listened to EDM for many years, I never had a desire to DJ. Years passed and a couple of knee surguries later, I decided to focus on becoming a DJ and ending my dance life.
The transition from just dancing to the music, and wanting to play it instead, was a slow one. For a couple of years when I was learning on turntables I ended up turning them on only once every month or two. In January of 2010, something changed for me. I started playing a few times a week and I loved it.
I met the #trancefamily and discovered many new friends who shared the same love I do for trance music. When I went to Holland in 2009, I felt at home because the people there really loved and appreciated trance music, which I have loved for many years. Now, to find more people locally and across the world that are as passionate for trance as I am, I have truly found my place in this world.
Currently I live in San Diego, California. I have lived in Southern CA most of my life except for the 3 years I spent in Arizona. I mainly play Trance music but I have played Breaks and House as well.
I currently play Live every Thursday at 6pm PST / 9pm EST on ProjectRadio.us for my show ‘The Mix Hour’. Happy Trance Thursday!
My Sunday show, which has aired every Sunday at 6pm PST / 9pm EST for 2 hours on ProjectRadio.us will now be airing Live on my own website, JulietStar.com. You can watch the Live Video on the main page of my website and join the chat room to talk to me while I am playing. Additionally I will be streaming the Audio Live at the same time on ETN.fm‘s Trance Channel.
Recently I have begun playing on TranceFormers.net which is the Trance Channel for Radio4by4.com. You can catch me on those stations on some random Friday nights.

I have also done Guest Mixes for various radio shows including shows hosted by Danny Chen, Johnny Jam and Cyberian Soundz.
This year I have also begun the journey of learning to produce music. I am currently studying some production techniques and have created a few mashups.
In 2010, I began working as a Journalist and DJ for TranceSound.net and the United States Trance Movement. I have conducted interviews on SoundLift, Lange, Leon Bolier, Bobina and Manuel Le Saux, Cowboy Mike with many more to come! I have also conducted Album Reviews for TranceSound.net, the United States Trance Movement and locally the San Diego Trance Movement.
