Migrashun makes its return after a small hibernation to bring you one of the most eclectic and diverse producers of recent memory. Deepchild is a Berlin-based DJ and producer who has productions and remixes on labels such as Trapez, Resopal Schallware, Anabatic Records, Get Physical, Freerange, Dieb Audio, Thoughtless Music and others. He has performed both as a DJ and live in Vancouver, San Fransico, London, Berlin, Tokyo, Servia and the Czech republic to name a few. His sound ranges from nu-jazz, glitchy deep house, dub tech and beyond. He will be performing a special LIVE set in the Lair that is sure to be something to remember. Expect deep, moody, warm and funky track selection on this special night. Also performing will be Migrashun’s founder and executive A&R Mathias Matthew, rising Chicago star Mantas Steles of Ears Wide Open and Jason Warth of Curbed Recordings

Deepchild: 

Deepchild is Berlin-based producer Rick Bull - a regular dj/live-pa here in Berlin at club-institutions like Berghain, Tresor, Weekend Club, Watergate, as well as veritable international touring machine…from Tokyo to Australia, and extensively across North America and Eastern Europe.

As a core member of of the Trapez recording-artist roster, the deepchild production-aesthetic remains firmly routed in an exploration of "post-Detroit" machine-music - bass-heavy, insistent, angular, raw, noisy and dub-laden techno, with persistent references to classic-disco and soul rising and falling between rumbling proto-funk and mutant R'n'B.
