We started in the South Bay with  back in 1999 and we are still doing it, now at the Silver Dollar with the same K.J.(K.J. Beer, that came from M.C. Serge). but, with a twist. We've added a little Karaoke, no dress code, NO COVER, Cheaper Drinks and it works! Everybody gets in the act and it's just a lot of fun WITHOUT THE CRAP!! Better sound, great lighting, large Party floor, some faces you'll recognize if you used to go there a few years ago AND now everybody gets in the act!! It's now called "Marilyn's" because of the theme of the all wall decor, Marilyn Monroe, James Dean, Bob Dillion, Elvis, Betty Boop pictures among others. We've added all kinds of props you can use, There are some people that wait until they get to the Bar to get dressed! IT'S JUST A FUN SAFE PLACE TO PARTY!! Tonight it's "OLD SKOOL". Just a fun Night of doing what ever you want! You want to run it for awhile? O.K. You want to sing? O.K. you want to Party? O.K. You want to see concert excerpts? O.K., We've got a bunch!! You want to run the light show? O.K., I'll show you how! You want to have fun? O.K. Stop by, Feel the "Old School" Music, and High Energy Karaoke, on an 8,000 watt, 12 speaker digitally processed sound system! Up to 16 cordless mics ...all kinds of props( hats, instruments, Boas, tambourine,etc) Plus the words are superimposed over the singers image on 6 T.V. monitors, 3 of which are 50inch+ in size. Tons of free parking in back off the street in a city lot, there is a back door entrance. There is a pizza shop that delivers all night log that is just up the street. Drinks are reasonable, full bar and bottled beer only. Lots of Familiar faces if you used to hang out at Di Mond Jims 2 or 3 years ago for example The Bartender, Angela used to bar-tend there. You will also recognize the lighting, the same guy who did Di Monds did the lighting at Silver Dollar. Then at about 11:00 "Marilyn's" kicks in with Old Skool and current  mix til 2:00am. We are looking for guest K.J.s plus local artists to perform just like we did at Di Monds. Check it out, we've not had a violence issue in almost 3 years!
