DJ SKINNIE was born in the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles. Growing up near Hollywood he had an itching desire to one day make a "big" name for himself. Listening to the world famous radio station Power 106 was an everyday routine for him, this is where he first heard DJ's spinning and felt a brand new love for Hip-Hop music. Music and the DJ lifestyle became his passion. This was right at the time when "DJ's" were not only just playing music but becoming the artist. He got his first chance in high school where he played house parties and soon became very well known. Moving to San Diego only in 2006, he continued to do shows for local SDSU fraternities followed by his debut at Deco's nightclub in 2008. Then when he just turned 21 he got his first Friday night gig playing at Belo nightclub followed by another performance at On Broadway Event Center. With the help of Tim Ortiz and eventvibe.com DJ Skinnie is currently one resident @ On Broadway and working on residencies at other San Diego & Los Angeles hotspots! DJ Skinnie is currently on the EV Music Record Label alongside DJ's: Cowboy Mike, $uperfox, Chase Costello, Yan Lhert & Brett Nieman.

DJ Skinnie thanks his fans, friends and family, especially his mother and grandmother for all of their support (and enduring the LOUD late-late night jam sessions)  through the years, he says " without them I wouldn't be where I am today."
