Born and raised  in Southern California, TJ Kirchoff, or DJ KURCH as he is known, has been rockin' the turntables since his early college days at San Diego State.  Almost every night of the week he would be on the decks at a house party playing until the early morning when the last person left the dance floor.  It was this practice and experience that allowed him an easy transition to the club scene in early 2006.

Although a big fan of house music since hearing DJ Jean's "The Launch" and Alice DeeJay's "Better Off Alone" in the late 90's, KURCH started his career playing predominantly hip-hop.  Over the years his house music influence begun to show up more and more in his sets. Soon after, he was getting booked for a house set one night, and a hip-hop set the next. Even today in his all house sets a little bit of his hip-hop roots tend to show.  His current influences and favorite artists are Deadmau5, VANDALISM, Klaas, Dirty South and Tocadisco.

His versatility makes him an asset to the DJ world as he can play all genres of music. From house and electro, to underground and hip-hop, or all mixed in to one seamless set, KURCH can play it all. KURCH has rocked the wheels of steel all over San Diego including On Broadway Event Center, 4th and B, Airport Lounge, Bar West, Red Circle, Deco's, The Keating Minus 1 Lounge, Ole Madrid, Open Air Theater (San Diego State), The Wavehouse, Longboard's Bar & Grill, and ONYX Room. DJ KURCH has shared the stage with some of the industries biggest names including Benny Benassi, Dirty South, Donald Glaude, Cowboy Mike, Miss Lisa, Holy Ghost, DJ G-ROY, and Theron. Don't sleep on this kid! At only 22 years old, he is growing and always on the move.
