For those that do not know.... Get Down Society is the combination of DJs Sean Wilson & Tony Lee (formally with the Blk Ink Collektiv) along with Chris Liosi (formally with Lamplight Music) and as often as possible we also feature live performances by our supporting musicians: Jason Whitmore (Live on Sax) and Kofi (drumming his heart out to our beats.)

Between the Members of Get Down Society we have (collectively or individually) held residencies at local venues such as Onyx Room, Aubergine, Canes & Jacks La Jolla. We have also played most major venues in San Diego including On Broadway, Belo, Spin, 4th & B, Stingaree + others. In addition to local events our members have been featured at venues in Vegas, San Francisco, Seattle & Italy and we don't plan to stop there! We have had the luck of playing events with Big Hitters such as: Mark Farina, Kaskade, Deep Dish, Donald Glaude, Chuck Love & DJ Sneak just to name a few

To Chris, Tony & Sean music comes first. We are like minded djs that focus purely on house music (all forms of it!) We enjoy playing deep and soulful when placed in a lounge setting, techy and minimal when trying to create an Ibiza style vibe on a star covered patio or Electro and Funky when stuck in a big room backed by a proper sound system. There is no limit to our sound and each set is guaranteed to include house classics, underground & mainstream hits, top 40 remixes and just about anything with a funky bassline and or soulful vocals in between it all.

When we throw off our headphones and step into the world of promotions we strive to sponsor/host events that are based off a combination of Music, Live Performance, Up Lifting Vibes, Visual Arts, Professionalism and Fashion. We work hard to provide top quality sound, respectable/levelheaded guests, packed dance floors all tied together with a sense of family, belonging and all the values that we believe the house music/club scene represents.
We look forward to our future journey of Musical Travels, Family growth, Larger Events, Self Produced Tracks, Podcasts/Enriched Audio Media and giving back to our community, friends, fans and the House Music scene.
